Thanks to the Queen, we all got a free bus and train ride into the city today! We braved the massive crowds, wrangled three prams and eight children in and out of eight lifts, momentarily lost two small children in Northbridge and spent ages lining up for the toilets. There were some fun bits too – we watched a bit of street theatre, had an icecream, checked out the old gaol at the museum and got a free balloon!
If you asked the kids, they would probably say that the best part was the bus ride. Funny to think, we could have just had an extended ride on the 507 and they would have been happy.
A wonderful day was topped off with an impromptu backyard pirate-princess wedding. I love those kids!
Haha, it looks like a gay wedding! I laughed so much!
