The first of May is a big deal in Moz.  Its workers day, and while it’s a public holiday people general hang out with their colleagues at various government and work functions. Today was our first day of attending functions here in Massangulo.  We have been to plenty in Lichinga where there is a big parade and floats and ceremonies.  Massangulo couldn’t quite match the…um… pomp of Lichinga but we celebrated in the Massangulo way.  We all then had a big workers lunch back at out place, full of Mozambican food cooked by Kath and Bek (perfectly cooked too) .
