Cam and Kath are Intercultural Workers with Baptist Mission Australia. They have been in Mozambique with their three children – Jack, Matilda and Sydney for over 10 years working with the Yawo – a least reached people group. They spend their days speaking Portuguese and Ciyawo (still learning), spending time with neighbours, teaching the kids (they’re all doing distance ed) and telling stories. Kath grew up in Yallingup & Dunsborough then moved to Perth to study Physio. Cam grew up in Gnowangerup then moved to Perth to study Ag Science. They met at uni, got engaged at Vic Falls, married on the same day as the start of the Sydney Olympics and started living the Aussie dream. A partly renovated house, dog, two cats, three kids and multiple post grad qualifications later (Cam has a PhD in Agriculture and a Grad Cert in Divinity and Kath has a Grad Cert in both International Health and Divinity) and they felt God was calling them to go and serve in Mozambique.
