The red light of death

We’d been staring at it all week, thinking oh well, we’re in Africa now. We just have to be patient and wait for it to turn green again all by itself. Who knows how long it will take? I’d even tried to embrace it – take advantage of the fact that it wasn’t working. I did some craft projects, got school sorted out for the next few weeks – it was wonderful! But by Thursday I was thinking it would be really great to talk to my sis & see my new nephew and e-mail my Dad and put some photos up to show everyone we’re ok. So I asked Cam if maybe he could perhaps look into why it might not be working maybe, please. So Friday morning he went to visit the Internet provider office in town… the problem… we hadn’t paid our bill. Turns out they don’t just give you free internet in Mozambique – who would have thought!
